An Elegant pair of Scottish Silver Chocolate Pots They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "RS" for Robert Stewart of Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow. Robert Stewart held the distinction of having been appointed Goldsmith, Silversmith and Jeweller to Queen Victoria. The pots were assayed in London, hallmarked with the maker's mark "RS", the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "I" for 1904. These are presented in superb condition and all the marks are very crisp and clear. They measure 7 1/2" inches (18cm) in height. The bases are 3 1/4" inches (7.5cm) in diameter. The total weight is 635g/2.41oz
