"Paris Porcelain And Marquetry Tea Box, Circa 1830"
Lovely box in rosewood marquetry with holly threads, containing in reserves dressed in paper and pink velvet three pieces of Paris porcelain, two bottles and a covered box decorated with polychrome flowers and gold thread. Typical of the Parisian production of the 1830s, in the Charles X style, this kit is one of those precious trinkets, which the ladies of all Europe fought over, in the elegant boutiques of the capital.
