Limoges porcelain dish from the J. Balleroy workshop with gold highlights on a midnight blue background with a painted decoration in the center representing a candlelight reading scene. Signed Balleroy. Decoration made by the Balleroy et C° decoration workshops located at 44 rue de Chateauroux in Limoges and bears its stamp in manganese red. A second stamp is present in chrome green for the manufacturer that made the piece in white William Guérin for the period from 1891 to 1932. Diameter: 28.5 Height: 2.5
