Rare Strasbourg platter in solid silver from the Louis XV period, circular in shape with contoured fillets. Engraving on the back mentioning its rare weight characteristics of the period in Mars / Ounces and Grains. Hallmark of Reconnaissance of STRASBOURG (with the title of Paris: 11 deniers and 12 grains), Hallmark of Maison Commune for STRASBOURG 1779 (D Crowned) and Hallmark of Master Goldsmith Jacques-Henri ALBERTI (Hallmark with his name in full) received in 1764. Very rare Strasbourg dish from the Louis XV period in good general condition and remarkably hallmarked, moreover revised and cleaned by our Goldsmith, slight marks and micro-scratches from use.
