Exceptional set in dark blue long grain morocco in 8vo format, bindings from the beginning of the 19th century of the Works of William Shaekespear published in London by R. Tonson. Wonderfully illustrated work with figures, pages ruled in red ink included in 12 Volumes. This magnificent and rare Copy is in a rare state of conservation, the only copy with covers framed by gilt fillets, spine with ribbed titles and volume numbers gilt edges gilded in bright gold, yellow guards. The work includes the work in its entirety in 10 Volumes plus 2 additional Volumes of the Poems at Thomas Evans, No. 50, Stand, near Vork Buildings; and of the "Prolusions" London J. and R. Tonson in the Stand. 1760.
