"Long Stem Candelabra. Early 19th Century Period. "
Rare candelabra called "long stem" inspired by the models discovered during the excavations of Herculaneum and Pompeii, allowing to place one or more oil lamps. Our example of very fine workmanship dates from the beginning of the 19th century. Beautiful period brown patina with some gilding highlights. Black marble resting on three gilded bronze feet. Small chips on the marble. Very good general condition. Paris early 19th century.
