"Louis XV Wedding Walnut Armoire"
Louis XV armoire with gendarme's hat in walnut from the Saône et Loire region, known as a wedding armoire. On the upper crossbar are carved two doves surrounding a basket, on each side of which is the image of the vine. The lower crossbar is carved with a flower basket motif. The interior has an original layout consisting of three shelves, a row of three drawers and a large "pantalonière" drawer. Furniture in very good original condition from around 1800.
