To take the photographs (and clean the protective glass) the mounting was opened, but we did not touch the whole [drawing + mounting + marie-louise], original. The drawing is in very good condition. See photographs. No apparent sun exposure. Some chips in the gilding of the frame, easy to restore The drawing is very fine. It represents a hussar from Napoleon's army. The signature (bottom right next to the sabre) is not very legible in natural light, but under UV rays it is clearly visible (see photo). This signature was doubled, probably when the first and original signature faded. The date that appears is 1896.
