Object description :

"Vermiculated Embroidery Suit On Cotton Muslin - Charleston Dress - Circa 1925"
Evening dress matched with her jacket (circa 1925). Soft anise green suit set. Gray, black tubular beads and mercury round beads drawing a geometric ribbon on a background of vermiculated embroidery in pearly white tubular beads. Dress cut on the bias and straight jacket. Elegant and fluid set.

Condition : These collector's items are not perfect, however they are in good condition. The structure is solid, it does not show any fragility under tension or under the own weight of the elements. A few areas of missing pearly beads should be noted on the dress and the jacket. Traces of sweat under the armpits, and slight manufacturing marks on the bottom in various places (sleeves, seam junctions in particular). Also note some loss of mercury pearls at the edges, as well as two rust marks on one sleeve.
The support being holy and not fragile, it is entirely possible to restore the missing parts of vermicelli embroidery.

We have at your disposal additional photos to illustrate these points.
