Amazing Wall Lamp, Cardan Lamp, 18-19th, Tinplate, Forming Night Light

Curious model of wall lamp with oil lamp, forming a night light. I have not found anything similar in documentation/.
It is a wall bracket from tinplate, pointed backsplash and rounded support taking the shape of the oil lamp, model after Cardan, with high reservoir, it is the system of the bird bath adapted to the oil lamp, with constant level.
Slipping onto the rounded part, there is this lampshade which is placed by spring under the support, thus making the lamp "deaf".
The whole is squared on wall, a probably rare model,
France, late 18th or early 19th?
Good condition, has not been used or not much. It is probably missing a wick holder.
