Large Florentine Floor Lamp, Wrought Iron, Tassels, Floor Lantern On Old Painted Base

Sumptuous Florentine floor lamp in wrought iron and embossed sheet metal, topped at the top with a charming lantern. It is lit with one light, by means of a bayonet socket. Our light rests on a tripod base in wrought iron, ending with a winding work. The central shaft is decorated with a braid made of double and twisted wire. This braid wraps around the entire central stem. This stem is topped with a pretty lantern crowned and decorated with palmate leaves in embossed sheet metal. A very beautiful ornamentation composed of strings of pearls of different colors, drops of water and large plates complete this Italian decor in the purest Florentine style. Our light has been lacquered in old gold and has kept its original color. The electrification is recent. Very beautiful artisanal manufacture from the 1950s. Note a tiny wear on one or two edges of the large plates.
