"Quadripod Ointment Pot - Gan Culture, Burkina Faso"
Quadripodal NGUM POT - the feet are four snakes whose heads support the body of the vessel. The globular body is decorated in bas-relief with two snakes, a chameleon and an anthropomorphic figure.
The lid is decorated with four figures in the round around an earthenware vessel.
