"Divinatory Bell Hammer Called Laouré - Baoulé Culture, Ivory Coast"
A DIVINATORY BELL HAMMER called Laouré with a handle featuring a female figure standing with her hands resting on her scarified abdomen on either side of her protruding navel. The half-moon-shaped knocker is entirely incised with geometric motifs, openwork and two faces with shell-shaped headdresses.
