"Seaside By Georges Villain"
Watercolor on paper from the end of the 19th century, depicting houses by the sea. It could be the surroundings of Granville or Upper Normandy, regularly painted by the artist. Painting signed lower left Georges Villain. Georges René Villain (1854-1930) student of Harpignies and Benjamin Constant. He began exhibiting at the Salon in 1877. Good general condition, small stains to report, visible in the photo. Dimensions without frame: 32.5 / 23.5 cm
