"Louis XVI Chest Of Drawers With Central Step Stamped By Godefroy Dester"
Chest of drawers with central projection, stamped Godefroy DESTER, received Master in 1774, in mahogany and mahogany veneer, opening with five drawers on three rows, the first two separated by a crosspiece, the central drawer with double-bolt lock. The fluted cut sides, on fluted tapered base. Ornamentation of gilded bronze, chiseled such as fleurons, pull rings, lock entries with knotted ribbons. Top of veined white marble. Stamped. Height. 87; Width. 131; Depth. 63 cm.
