Object description :

"Chinese Export Porcelain Qianlong Mandarin Garniture Vase 3x 18th Century Qing Dynasty Ca. 1785"
A Chinese export underglaze-blue and ‘mandarin palette’ three-piece garniture, Qing dynasty, Qianlong period, c. 1785.

Each painted with two central scenes on each side depicting ladies, boys and scholars in a garden, comprising one baluster vase with a foo-lion topped cover and two gu-form vases.

Ref: 
A complete similar garniture set was sold at Sotheby’s New York, January 25 2020, lot 1132

Dimensions:
Baluster vase: Height 23 cm, diameter 9.5 cm.
Gu-form vases: Height 19.5 cm, diameter 9.1 cm.

Condition:

Baluster vase: 
The foo lion on the lid broken and reglued with a chip to the foot missing, the inside of the neck and a small piece of the outside of the neck resprayed to cover up a small hairline. Furthermore in good condition with small enamel wear.

Gu-form vases:
Vase 1: A chip to the foot, a chip to the outside of the mouth rim, old repair to the mouth rim.
Vase 2: Repaired chip to the outside of the mouth rim.
