"Bronze Animal Sculpture Deer By Alfred Jacquemart."
Bronze animal sculpture by Alfred Jacquemart representing a young deer making its antlers on a tree trunk from the 19th century, Napoleon III. Very beautiful piece listed by this great artist known to be one of the greatest sculptors of the 19th century. Alfred Jacquemart (1824 - 1896 Paris) was a student of Paul Delaroche and was as talented as Pierre Louis Rouillard PJ Mene or AL Barye. He participated in the Universal Exhibition of 1878 in Paris. His magnificent sculpture of the rhinoceros is in front of the Musée d'Orsay in Paris and his large lion in the Jardin des Plantes. Here is a remarkable work of the period treated in a nervous and dynamic way evoking the natural power of the animal. Very interesting piece, embellished with a splendid original patina not restored, which can be linked to the romantic and naturalist school. Possibility of sending in France and around the world by professional carrier or by secure and insured package. Invoice and certificate provided.
