Stanislas KIJNOOil on canvas, framed with a flat baguette painted by the artist on the fields and sides in order to integrate it into the work.
The abstract subject entitled "STARTING" is treated with acrylic in three colors, white, black and red.
The work gives off, through its structure and the distribution of colors, a feeling of calm, balance and serenity that fit well with the title "Starting".

Wladyslaw KIJNO 1921-2012
Painter of Polish origin, arrived in France in 1925, from a modest background, he studied philosophy and frequented the studio of De Germaine Richier (sculptor), he found his pictorial expression in the 1950s by spraying on canvas as well as on the crumpled paper technique.
His work was influenced by his encounter with poets and personalities who inspired him for tributes (Nicolas de Stael, Mandela, Gagarin, Neruda,...)
