"Chair. Italy. Seventeenth Century."
Beautiful chair with a trapezoidal seat, finely carved and openwork back and low crosspiece. Old grafts have been made on three ends of the leg; the chair moves on its joints, but it is solid. Walnut. Italy, probably Lombardy. Mid-seventeenth century.
