Large COQUEMAR in copper, baluster-shaped with a short foot, pinched pouring spout and "gendarme hat" lid with "shell" thumb. It is fitted with a fixed tubular handle with sides and a swinging wrought iron handle.
Height: 31.5 cm.
FLANDERS (?), Second half of the 18th century.

Very good condition
The rolled tubular handle is hollow, a technical improvement slowing down and reducing the transmission of heat, therefore greater grip comfort compared to pieces with flat handles.
Note in passing that all these pieces of copperware, with the exception of late stamped productions, are unique.
