Beautiful 17th Century Holy Water Font, Embossed Brass, Pierced Of Floral Motifs

Superb holy water font , floral bouquet-shaped backsplash, reminiscent of those flamboyant bouquets of gilded brass located at period on each side of altar, in one carved wooden vase.
Highly relief repoussé work is combined here with engraving and pierced tooling, as for goldsmith pieces, and it is superb.
On bottom, bolted, a covered holy water box, from cast bronze, also with floral motifs.
Good condition, Small weaknesses in cutting, (see red arrows)
