"1642 Presentation of horses" by Philippe Ledoux in 1970 for Maison Hermès Paris. Very elegant silk twill scarf with hand-rolled edges titled at the top center "1642" and at the bottom center "Presentation of Horses". On a pearl gray and ivory background with darker gray borders, a parade of horses and people is shown in the center, a favorite theme of Maison Hermès whose name appears in yellow in the gray border. In the upper corners a period saddle, and in the lower corners musketeer boots are represented. This pattern created in 1970 by Philippe Ledoux finds his signature at the bottom right, while the copyright appears at the top right. Dominant colors: gray, green, gold, ivory.
