Rattan Lounge Circa 1880 By Perret Et Vibert France Jardin d'Hiver (very Good Condition)

This "dragonfly" rattan lounge set by French designers and basket makers Perret & Vibert dates from the 1880s (source: Galerie Vauclair, Paris). The lounge set is composed of two dragonfly armchairs, three dragonfly chairs, and the accompanying table (the lounge set traditionally consists of 4 chairs, two armchairs, a table and a bench). Green and white polychrome work on natural rattan in good condition, although the two armchairs are a little sunburned. A very fine example of this French know-how from the end of the 19th century. Dimensions: Chairs: 88 cm high, 44 cm seat height, 40 cm wide, 38 cm deep. Armchairs: 97 cm high, 44 cm seat height, 50 cm wide, 45 cm deep. Table: 70 cm high, 72 cm long, 51 cm wide.
