Rare framed Neapolitan gouache from the early 19th century, in an unusual miniature format, depicting a lively landscape with the "Palazzo de la Reggina Giovanna" in the Bay of Naples, and the smoking Vesuvius in the background. A work of great finesse of execution, with very fresh colors and in excellent condition. Total dimensions: 16.5 X 13.5 cm, 10.5 X 7.5 cm on sight.
