  • Charming little Meissen porcelain figurine bottle, late 18th or early 19th century, representing a young goatherd in 18th century clothing controlling his goat by the horns..
  • A decoration of vines and grapes adorns the stopper, as well as the body of the bottle which has a wood effect base.
  • Pomponne or gilded metal frame.
  • Models with a similar motif in the book "PERFUME AND POMANDERS" by Edmund LAUNERT, see photos.
  • Crossed swords mark on the bottom.
  • Note: 2 chips under the base
  • Careful restoration on the horns, the hand holding them and the goat's left hind leg.
  • Height 8cm width 3,3cm
