Beautiful Louis XVI armchair extremely elegant from the end of the 18th century, (circa 1780), bearing in the interior belt an official inventory number*.(See photos of the underside of the seat). 
From the Louis XVI period, this seat could come from one of the workshops of master Parisian carpenters such as Nadal l'aîné, Séné, because of the similar architectural and decorative concordance of some of their known productions with this one. Armchair wearing its original cream-white lacquer which is not retouched in order to respect its authenticity despite some small lacks. Seat in perfect condition of its entire structure, the top of the back is said to be in a gendarme's hat, its upholstery and its upholstery were carried out in the old style by a professional workshop.
The seat is fitted with a comfortable and reversible feather cushion covered with a remarkable beautiful fabric of the house, the back at the back and the arms are covered with the same fabric of the Maison Lelièvre Paris.
