"Very Large Bronze Figuring Molière"
Large bronze depicting Molière, of a significant size it presents a quality of sculpture and casting of great finesse. This very realistic bronze in its execution bears the signature of Désiré Pierre Louis Marie (1761-1863) Norman sculptor born in Anisy in Calvados, he was a student of Armand Toussaint who exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1860 and 1870.
