"Empire Period Silk Painting"
Painting on silk with two vestals as a central motif in a palmette decor. Two cherub friezes complete the decor. The painting of beautiful size (Height: 74 cm) of great delicacy is treated with white and gray wash on an off-white silk support. Small tear in the silk.
