Back to school, original pen and ink drawing, probably dating from the 70s and published in the Journal du Dimanche, according to an indication "J du D" as well as annotations concerning the format visible on the periphery. It shows a line of students (among whom is the great Duduche) waiting for their teacher, to whom one of them discreetly rewards with a schoolboy remark. We recognize in this almost autobiographical drawing one of Cabu's favorite frames: the walls of the high school of his youth in Châlons-sur-Marne. It should be noted that the paper is scratched to simulate the wear of the latter. Some touch-ups with whiteout. Signature visible at the bottom left. Dimensions on sight: 25.5 x 20.5 cm. Dimensions of the frame: 41 x 31 cm. Good general condition, some slight creases in the center.
