"Regency / Louis XV Style Shepherdess In Very Richly Carved Walnut, Early 19th Century"
Very elegant Regency style bergere in carved walnut from the very beginning of the 19th century. The shaft of our seat was made in the 18th century style and is fully pegged.. This woodwork is very richly and finely carved throughout. The upholstery, as well as the ruby-colored covering fabric, are in very good condition. The seat is comfortable. The walnut shaft is also in good condition, old xylophagous galleries - common on this type of wood - are to be noted (and deserted for a long time!), as well as a discreet restoration on one of the front legs.
