"Two Soldiers, Biscuit, Manufacture De Sèvres, 19th Century"
We present two biscuit soldiers belonging to the Sèvres factory, first half of the 19th century, around 1840. One representing the Battle of Valmy, also called the Battle or Affair of the Camp de Lune, is a battle of the Revolutionary Wars of the late 18th century, which took place on September 30, 1792. The second soldier representing the Battle of Friedland saw the French army under the command of Napoleon I decisively impose itself against a Russian army led by Count Levin August von Bennigsen on June 14, 1807.
