"Plaque En Bronze "madonna Della Seggiola" Sur Cadre Octogonal Du XVIIème Siècle."
Beautiful bronze plaque depicting the famous "Madonna della Seggiola" by Raffaello Sanzio. The execution of the plaque can be dated to the 19th century and was probably made in Rome, the key city of the Grand Tour, where artistic and manufacturing workshops produced numerous objects of classicist inspiration in emulation of the most famous works of the best masters of the sixteenth century.
The frame on which it mounts is a rare ebonized frame with an octagonal shape and round inside, dating back to the 17th century.
Plate diameter 26 cm. At least 1 cm thick.
