It represents the telegraph (the Onglet lookout), in the background the eastern jetty of the commercial port and in the background the hills of Tourlaville. Very interesting detail, the old Onglet cemetery of which we can see a few crosses. It was created when the first cemetery located near the Trinity church and the one that had replaced it located on rue Auvray were abandoned. The expansion of the city at the beginning of the 19th century, around 1830-1840 led the municipality to create the cemetery on the Route des Pieux and to use the freed land to build and develop rue de l'Onglet. An anecdote in 1692 the Soleil Royal burned nearby and the sailors killed were buried in the Onglet cemetery where there were many Breton names.
