"English Coat Of Arms, Watercolour Circa 1840"
Large watercolor enhanced with gold around 1840, representing the coat of arms of the Crolly family, with the motto "Malo mori quam foedari " , surmounted by a hat and a haume which complete the inscription of the family in a distant medieval past. Good frame, certainly made about twenty years ago with a 19th century battery and a pretty gray pass beveled with gold. The paper being 19th century, it has yellowed a little, but the colors are very fresh.
