It was after law studies and experience in the textile industry that in 1960 and as an autodidact Urbain Huchet decided to devote himself exclusively to painting.

He then lived for three years in Pont-Aven, painting landscapes, seascapes, animated scenes and portraits of people. In 1963, he settled in the Paris region and traveled to the Middle East and especially South America.

Although he was a tireless traveler, Paris remained his great passion, inspiring him to create more than three hundred lithographs. Among them, he could not miss the Moulin-Rouge and the Parisian monuments.
