"Roger Vejarano (1964) - Old Lima: Jirón Huallaga"
- Oil on canvas. - Less known than the unmissable Buenos Aires of tangos, old Lima is a place of perfumed romanticism, Creole vanities, hidden gardens and barred windows. The local painter César Vejarano puts all his poetry in this view of one of the small streets (jirones) that lead to the Plaza de Armas. The old wooden balconies, inherited from the viceroyalty, and the baroque bell towers combine with the perfumed flavor of the natives. - Dimensions of the image without frame: 63 x 53 cm / 68 x 57 cm with magnificent frame. - From a private collection in Barcelona. - Good general condition. Minimal defects. - Galerie Montbaron attaches a technical sheet drawn up by a qualified art historian with all its lots. This sheet is sent in digital format and on request.
