Pair of 19th Century Gilded Bronze Vases from Italy. A pair of amphora shaped vases in mercury gilded and polished bronze. Very small center vases, featuring a fluted body and two double-scroll handles, these antique bronze portapalme, this is the Italian name of this sort of vasest, rest on a square base with feet. Inside an iron rod.
In good age related condition. Suitable as small lamp bases for bedsides or wall brackets. Italy early 1800.
