Rosewood and bronze box, with its two side handles, containing a superb toiletry kit with many bottles, pots and boxes in crystal and their solid silver lids hallmarked Minerva. A tray contains many accessories (scissors, pliers, dice, boot jack, etc.), some of which are made of tortoiseshell. The bottom of the box also reveals a compartment for the clothes brush and a hairbrush. The inside of the velvet-lined lid is removable and contains a mirror. This box bears the brand VEDEL et CIE 9 rue de Richelieu, famous table maker in Paris. DIMENSIONS OF THE BOX: 36cm long, 25cm deep and 16cm high. Delivery on estimate.
