"Art Deco Diamond Pendant On Platinum, On Its White Gold Chain"
Art Deco pendant in platinum (mascaron head hallmark) on its 375/°° white gold chain (9 KT, clover hallmark). Extremely sober, it is made up of a line of diamonds set closed in round boxes with finely pearled setting edges....these elements of great delicacy are recurrent on Art Deco jewelry and serve as a link between two larger, half-cut diamonds, also characteristic of this period. Like Art Deco jewelry, the effect of sobriety and symmetry is predominant. Here rendered by a circular design, it is worked around different dimensions and textures...the pearled setting edges have been joined by smooth platinum surround circles around the two largest diamonds, and openwork. The meshing between all the elements gives great mobility to this pendant allowing the diamonds to capture the light. The whole thing forms a very elegant fall effect whose main stone represents half a carat. The pendant is mounted on a discreet round curb chain, in 375/°° white gold (9 KT, clover hallmark) closed by a spring ring. The choice of this material seems judicious, due to its great resistance, which allows to wear a fine and discreet chain to fully highlight the pendant. Total weight of diamonds estimated at approximately 1.00 carat (including main 0.50 ct) Total gross weight: 4.03 g Condition: imperceptible micro-scratches on the metal, natural inclusions in the diamonds not visible to the naked eye Possibility of payment entirely remotely via the site.
