Callao Harbor Seen From The Open Sea. Gustave Rabel 1852- 1853.
Gustave Rabel was born in Rouen in 1828, he served in the Navy for 8 years which gave him the opportunity to travel around the world. He is a member of the Society of Rouennais Artists. He died in 1911. Our work is not signed but titled on the back and comes from the artist's family, it was made during his stay in Peru and South America in 1852 - 1853.
