Very pretty subject in gilded bronze representing an odalisque lying on a cushion, dating from the 1830s, resting on a wooden base. Beautiful quality of casting and chiseling, with a graceful attitude for this piece evoking a dreamed orient in vogue in the early 19th century. The gilding is in good condition, with a pretty patina (just a trace of verdigris to clean). Dimensions: 24 X 16 cm
