Gallia - Silver Metal Serving Tray

Silver-plated metal serving tray from the famous Gallia house, a subsidiary of Christofle.
The inside of the tray is engraved with foliage and interlacing decorations.
In the center, there is an empty cartouche that can be engraved.
The outline is worked in the metal and decorated with shells and ribbon bows and the two handles are also worked.
There are some light scratches from use and some desilvering underneath.
Ideal for a pretty table.
French work from the beginning of the 20th century stamped Gallia and numbered 4924.
