Italian painting from the second half of the 17th century. Oil on canvas artwork depicting the kiss and then the betrayal of Judas in the Garden of Gethsemane. This was in fact the signal agreed with the guards to recognize Jesus and arrest him. Painting of excellent pictorial quality, particularly evident in the draperies and details of the clothes. Note how Christ and his disciples are dressed in ancient style while the soldiers are depicted in typical 17th century clothes. Painting already restored with relining, replacement of the frame and repainting in some places. Overall painting in good state of conservation. Sight size H 105 x W 150 cm.
