China, first third of the 20th century, superb court lady's toiletry box in lacquered and partially gilded wood. It opens onto two doors on the front revealing two drawers. The upper part, removable, allows a mirror to be displayed or to be enclosed under the lid for easy transport by two small brass side handles. The hinges of the lid and its small clasp are also in brass. The whole is refined and of beautiful quality. Good condition of conservation except for some slight wear and small lacquer chips without affecting the beautiful aesthetic. Dimensions: Height 21 cm. Width 23.2 cm. Depth 22.9 cm. The scale indicator on the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a well-known brand.
