René Lalique “leaf” Model Vase, 1934

The "Feuille" vase by René Lalique is an emblematic piece of French decorative art from the early 20th century, typical of the Art Nouveau style that Lalique helped to popularize. The shape of the vase is slightly flared. A finely sculpted relief decoration of glass leaves can be seen. The glass is molded-pressed, matte and satin-finished. The model was created in 1934. Signed with the stamp under the base “R. Lalique”, five chips are visible on the top of the leaves on the first level.
