The Top Of The City By Giancarlo Impiglia

Acrylic on canvas depicting a party on a New York terrace with Ionic columns and the New York skyline in the background. the work was commissioned by the Fortunoff family and is published on pages 100 and 101 of the catalogue ‘The art of Giancarlo Impiglia’ published by Rizzoli New York.
The work consists of two canvases measuring: right panel 236x303x5.5 cm and left panel 224x303x5.5 cm.
The condition report is in a good state of conservation and has undergone cleaning of the paint surface.
The panels are signed and dated in the bottom right-hand corner. On the back there are various notes with: title, signature of the author, date and indications on the positioning of the panels.
The work has been deprived of its original frame in order to facilitate transport. For this reason, a high-tech light alloy frame has been constructed that can be completely dismantled.
