Eugène Béjot, born on August 31, 1867 in Paris and died in the same city on February 28, 1931, is a French painter and engraver. Eugène Béjot is the son of Marie Eulalie Nolle and Alfred Joseph Béjot, a wine merchant established at 32 boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris. He studied at the Académie Julian with Henri-Gabriel Ibels. During the 1890s, he frequented and became friends with several figures in the field of printmaking: Henri Guérard, Félix Bracquemond, Félix Buhot, Auguste Lepère and Francis Seymour Haden. In 1893 he became an associate of the Société nationale des beaux-arts and exhibited at the Salon until 1912. He received a silver medal at the 1900 Universal Exhibition. In 1908, he was elected a member of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers in London. Between 1899 and 1902, he collaborated with the magazine Cocorico. He lived at 8 quai de la Mégisserie in Paris. He is buried in the Père-Lachaise cemetery (59th division). Engraved work
