"Louis XV Period Commode Chair, 18th Century Commode Chair, Circa 1750"

Louis XV period commode chair in carved beech, made in the mid-18th century. This commode seat is curved on the front and offers beautiful sculptural work decorated with flowers and acanthus leaves on the base. Initially lacquered, our piece of furniture has traces of polychromy still visible in places (see photos). The canework is old but is in good condition. Old repairs have been carried out (filling on the bottom of the seat and small grafts on the base).
