Very original in its shape, this box with a beveled glass lid features a profile portrait of a 19th century tragedian woman of medieval inspiration in painted porcelain. This painted medallion is supported on each side by two decorative applications. The edge of this fretted box is covered with a garland and pompoms on a Greek key background, the legs are made of oak acorns.
