"Samurai Armor That Belonged To The Second Lord Of The Domain Itzumi Ishiwada"
armor that belonged to the third generation of the okabe family of the kishiwada domain, the eldest son of nabukatsu okabe armor completely in suite of type oegawa do gusoku early edo 1660,1680 do:
 type oegawa do: horizontal lamellar construction in black lacquered iron beautiful robust and elegant construction
sode shoulder protection; lacquered in gold kiritsuke and braided in multiple colors the mon of the okabe clan are on the last blade
kabuto of type sujibachi 12 blades in black lacquered iron mounted with a shikoro in black lacquered kiritsuke braided in kebiki of old gold silk
oate: in black lacquered iron with a yodarekake in lacquered iron in black kiritsuke braided in kebiki of old gold
silk sangu (three pieces kote sleeves aidate (under skirt, suneate (shin guard, in natural iron for the ote and aidate and in iron black lacquered for the suneate all mounted on an ivory hemp fabric
a classically designed armor without ostentatious attributes which at first glance may seem sober for a lordly armor. it bears witness to the humility of this lord who did not need flashiness to exist
this armor is accompanied by its transport case and rare detail of a protective cage generally reserved for important armor.
the armor was exhibited at ishiwada castle( see pictures ) an Edo maedate had been added
